What I did:
I was searching for articles on the topic of the issue of the extinction of some species of animals. The title of the article stated that there was a method of reviving extinct species, so that peaked my interest for reading that article, to find out more about the method.

What I had learnt:
I had learnt that the method involves the recovery of the DNA of the extinct species from their fossils. Due to the advancement of genetic technology, they will be able to slowly bring back that animal back to life. But, unfortunately they cannot revive those animals which have been extinct for a long period of time, because their DNA are too old to be extracted. These animals includes dinosaurs. This method also can modify the DNA structure of the animal, so as to ensure that they will be able to survive in the modern day. This means that animals that had died due to a disease, this process will be able to remove that infected gene. This article also provides various reasons as to why people should revive the extinct species of animals.

Summary:
This article mainly tackles the issue of the extinction of species of animals, by providing reasons as to why people should revive them. They believe that every life is crucial to the ecosystem, so by reviving them, we are restoring diminished ecosystems and preserve the biodiversity in the world. Through this we will learn the cause of their deaths and prevent them in the future.
