Creative writing 3 by sarah fareed kagda

When I was a child, I well remember the day when my sister and I were brushing our teeth in the morning. I filled my cup with water and splashed it on her for no reason whatsoever. Hearing my sister scream and cry quite pathetically, my parents turned to me and were infuriated.
Having yelled at me, my parents sent me to my room. I cried and shuffled down as slowly as I could, even if it was one step away in the next room. After ages that were seconds, I reached my confinement chamber. I, being a funny child, dropped to the ground, rolling excruciatingly slowly, over to my bed. The sunlight streamed in, the orange walls making it bounce all around the room. I sighed. It was still morning. Back then, I would have felt being stuck in the small room was painful. Now I would have been thrilled because my room is like a whole world to me. Of course, I would not do anything wrong to be placed nicely in there.
I woke up without remembering going to sleep. The room was filled with dark as if someone had come in and painted the air black. I tried to go back to sleep as usually I woke up at odd times like this for no reason, but Seth, my imaginary cat, started growling. Then I noticed the person at the window. I could feel their presence overpowering me in the dusty room.what were they doing? Were they hijacking my toys? I refused to move, wondering if they would run away if I did. At least, then I would know whether this person was a thief.
Later in the morning, through a sleepless night, long after the figure had gone, I rose. To this day, long after the mystical incident, I still have no idea who the person was, and if they had taken something.

Creative Writing Task 3 by Brandon Kang.

When I was a child, I will remember when I got my first toy gun,  around the house, sending foam bullets everywhere and making a mess.  I usually passed one of my toy guns to my cousin, and we both ran around having double the fun and creating double the trouble. When my mother gave up picking up my mess and exclaimed, “Brandon! Get to your room now! Now!” Panic and stress ran through me. I clung on to my mother;s shirt, and cried, “ No, please mum! Please!” She just shrugged me off.
Seeing that she was relentless, I dragged myself into the room. I was so sad. Tears dripped down my eyes as I heard a loud bang behind me. My mother had shut the door. I looked out the window; the Sun was glaring in my eyes. I didn’t want to go to bed but what could I do. “Oh well.” I told myself, then, I hugged my pillows and shut my eyelids, trying to go to sleep.
I woke up a while later but to my surprise, it was pitch-black already. I wanted to go back to sleep but couldn’t. After that long nap, I found it hard. Then, there a creaking sound as the door opened. I was so scared that my whole body started shaking. I laid down, only looking at the ground and I saw a shadow. “It” put its hand on my head, gently rubbed my head and went off. It was a familiar sensation, and I felt very blissful.
The next morning, I woke up feeling blissful and happy. Till this day, I still know not who or what came into my room that night.

When I was a child, I well remember that I was not allowed to eat chocolate at night. However, that rule did not bother me. Every night, after everyone was asleep, I would silently creep into the kitchen and consume the chocolates one by one. One morning, my father noticed that the chocolates were disappearing. He then realised that it was me who ate the chocolate. He then took a cane, chasing me to my room. He then locked the door and made me reflect on my actions. I could not say anything lest I get hit.
My room was small. Enough to fit my white desk, my bed and my shelf. Of course, there was a small window with a little light shining through. I slowly crawled onto my bed and soon, I was fast asleep.
For what seemed like ages, I finally woke up, I felt like I just went through a roller coaster ride. Then, I noticed that it was pitch black, and I could not see a single thing. Then, I felt a pair of hands on my back. There was a dark figure beside me; I froze. It said"I did not mean to lock you in your room." the dark figure then covered my blanket over me and vanished into the darkness.
the next morning, I found the door still locked. Who could that be? Was that a dream? I never figured out who that dark figure was.

Creative writing task 3 by Keith Tan

When I was a child, I well remember, after finishing a drink, I was holding the cup in a weird way, and suddenly, dropped it! My father, being the only one there, quickly rushed to my side and, after settling the broken cup, sent me to bed. I immediately pleaded with him and ran around the house, but ultimately went to my room.
My room, coated with light blue, did not look as bright even with sunlight entering, as I shuffled as slowly as possible to the toilet and back to my room, and repeating the process as many times as possible, however, still fell asleep.
A couple of hours passed as I finally woke up, looking around the dimly-lit room, when I heard the unmistaken voice of my father, what he said though was unclear to me.
The next morning, I tried my very hardest to dig up my memories and amplify the voice, but to no avail.

When I was a child, I well remember using a pair of scissors and trimmed off the leaves of my father's plant. When he found put about that, he immediately punished me and ordered me to go to my room. I fell to my knees and pleaded with him to give me another punishment, with tears trickling down my face.

I slowly walked to my room, dithering and dragging my feet, despondently hunched back. After what seemed like a few hours, I got to my room. Once there, I slammed the door. My room was as if it was like an oven. I could hear cars driving past my flat.

In the night, I could hear footsteps. It seemed like someone was walking towards my room. I faced the opposite side of the door, fearing for what it could be. Suddenly, I could see a ray of light shining on the wall and I could see a silhouette of someone. But, I could not tell who it was.

In the following day, I wondered who came to my room, thoughts drifted through my mind like dandelion clocks.
